Por ello, esta disciplina profesional, comprometida con la promoción del autocuidado en grupos humanos y contextualizada en una situación de salud, contribuye, a través de su Sistema de Apoyo Educativo, a acercar los conocimientos que permitan a personas/comunidades a tomar las decisiones acerca de cómo cuidar de su contexto, de sí y de otros a cargo.
